Man time flies when you have a new toy! I have only been wearing my Fitbit Alta HR for a week (almost two) and I have been loving it.
I have already lost three pounds and have been active all week. And with the app that goes with it, I was able to remove 5 different apps from my phone.
Well, maybe I will get back on track for posting, but then again school starts next week for my youngest. That means Basketball, Track, and Drama practices and games.
Hope everyone has a great month.

Oh goody!!
Well the last calf of the year has been born, and with the heat things are slowing down here on the ranch. So, now I should be able to figure out what I want to write about for the month. If I can come up with something I may post more often, but who knows.

Trying again
Well, I'm going to try this again. Just, I don't know what to blog about. I have too many hobbies to count and the video games niche is quite saturated.
While I'm finding out what to write about, I will have at least one post a month. That post could be anything from crafting (another saturated niche), to video games (as mentioned earlier), to ranch work (my day job). So, bare with me as I find something to write about.

Cows run funny
We have cows on our ranch and at feeding time they come running in to get fed. They don't have a smooth gait like that of a horse, but have a choppy gait that looks hilarious.
Well, time to get back to work.

Don Quijote Update
Well, Don Quijote went to the vet on Monday, 11 June. And she had some good news, he no longer needs surgery! His eyes were ruptured, when she suggested it and now they are going back to "normal" for at least him. He'll still be blind, but at least he won't have to go through the surgery anymore.
He's no longer getting the shots daily, but he's still getting an antibiotic on his eyes and it's not every hour anymore. He gets the medicine about 3 times a day now, which makes it easier on everyone.
If your still interested in helping out, just call Alicia Davidson. And for everyone who helped out already, Thank you very much.

Need some help, PLEASE!!!
![]() |
| This picture was taken last week; he was learning his new surroundings, a barn stall. |
If you can volunteer and hour or so to help take care of the others it would be much appreciated. Right now, we're trying to get rid of the infection so he can have surgery to remove both eyes so this doesn't happen again. He is being a real trooper and for only being a week old is fighting this. When all this is over he'll be like all the other horses, a therapy horse. We have seen how these little horses inspire patients to get better, and this little guy will be no different.
We have groups that we go to and some that come to the ranch to visit. If you would like to help, or to donate, donations are tax deductable, contact Alicia Davidson at Alicia@minidreamsllc.com or go to the site www.dmdheartsandhooves.org to learn more. We could use all the help we can get at this point. With love and care, we expect him to pull through.
