Guess the old saying is true...
I've heard an old saying that "the closer to the end you get the faster it goes," that's true for toilet paper, paper towels and the year.
I've also heard that "time flies when you're having fun," I just didn't realize I was having that much fun. Just yesterday it was Thanksgiving, now Christmas is just two weeks away...Good Grief!
Well, at least the Christmas shopping is done (thanks to my amazing hubby).
Well, hope everyone has a great Holiday.
Merry Christmas.

Good Grief, August Already!
I have already lost three pounds and have been active all week. And with the app that goes with it, I was able to remove 5 different apps from my phone.
Well, maybe I will get back on track for posting, but then again school starts next week for my youngest. That means Basketball, Track, and Drama practices and games.
Hope everyone has a great month.

Trying again
Well, I'm going to try this again. Just, I don't know what to blog about. I have too many hobbies to count and the video games niche is quite saturated.
While I'm finding out what to write about, I will have at least one post a month. That post could be anything from crafting (another saturated niche), to video games (as mentioned earlier), to ranch work (my day job). So, bare with me as I find something to write about.

Don Quijote Update
He's no longer getting the shots daily, but he's still getting an antibiotic on his eyes and it's not every hour anymore. He gets the medicine about 3 times a day now, which makes it easier on everyone.
If your still interested in helping out, just call Alicia Davidson. And for everyone who helped out already, Thank you very much.

Need some help, PLEASE!!!
![]() |
| This picture was taken last week; he was learning his new surroundings, a barn stall. |
If you can volunteer and hour or so to help take care of the others it would be much appreciated. Right now, we're trying to get rid of the infection so he can have surgery to remove both eyes so this doesn't happen again. He is being a real trooper and for only being a week old is fighting this. When all this is over he'll be like all the other horses, a therapy horse. We have seen how these little horses inspire patients to get better, and this little guy will be no different.
We have groups that we go to and some that come to the ranch to visit. If you would like to help, or to donate, donations are tax deductable, contact Alicia Davidson at Alicia@minidreamsllc.com or go to the site www.dmdheartsandhooves.org to learn more. We could use all the help we can get at this point. With love and care, we expect him to pull through.
Thought this might of interest...
These auctions go on everyday and you can find some really great deals, just like the one above.

It’s been busy around here!
I've been really busy as of late and there's proof, too!
DMD Ranch owed by the Davidson's has had 6 foals born in the last three months and it's not over, as they still have at least one more that I know of…but there have been surprises. J If you go to facebook and look up DMD Hearts and Hooves you'll find that there are pictures of all the foals but one. We haven't posted Don Quijote's pictures yet, or at least I haven't. LOL, but give me some time and I will.
Well, time to get ready for another week of fun with the mini's. If anyone reading this wants to know more about DMD Hearts and Hooves then you can go to http://www.DMDheartsandhooves.org to learn more about this great organization.

It's the Weekend!
Anyway, I wanted to tell you about a great book that I read. I think that Nora Roberts is a great author and wanted to tell you about her book The Search. It's basicly about a woman who trains search and rescue dogs. Yes, it's a romance novel but the base story line is great (or I think it is). I won't say anymore for fear that I'll give away the ending.

Well I’m not the best blogger
Yea, you saw correctly a quarter per download, not per use. That means if you upload your picture of those wood ducks you took when you were at the lake, you’ll only get 25 cents for someone to download it and be able to use it thousands of times. To me I would rather be paid per use then per download.
Anyway, I checked it out and for the money you’re getting a great deal, especially since she works in the real world not out of a classroom. Don’t get me wrong the world needs teachers, but I think that the college level teachers and up, should either have held a job in their field of study, or currently have one. I mean if you what to have a million dollars at retirement, wouldn’t it be smart to have a financial advisor who has made a million dollars and no degree, then one who only has $25,000 and a masters degree? I would want to learn from the millionaire.
Well, off to prepare for my week at work. Have a fun (I mean that sarcastically) week. Sayalp is getting ridiculous; they said that I can’t even mention I work for them here, so I spelled their name backwards to see what happens.
Here is the link to the photography course; http://hjhoffman.betterp.hop.clickbank.net
Good luck.

First Day of Work
Well, I started working at Playas, NM and it was a cluster… I got to the designated doctor's office to get the drug screening done and the staff that does that won't be in until tomorrow, so after the drive back from Silver City, I start to take their Defensive Driving Test, a test that usually takes five hours and can only get two and a half hours in.
Tomorrow will be part two, and I don't even know where I'm working yet or what I'll be doing. Hopefully, it will be better then today.

Fine Arts and Craft Festival
This Month we have the Annual Fine Arts and Craft Festival, hosted by the Mixed Nuts on the 20th of November this year from 9am to 3pm. Just about every "crafty" person in town and the surrounding area comes here to sell their wares; everything is Handmade and perfect for Christmas gifts. There is also food sold here too. Proceeds from the Lunch go towards scholarships for the area kids. This year's lunch is Green Chili Stew lunch for $5.00.
If you want the best enchilada sauce see Nettie, Izzy and Alice, they make the best; they may also have some of their delicious Tamales and Burritos for sale there too. There will also be a booth selling Fry Bread, donations from this will go towards the Catholic Church and Mission's in our Parish.
The festival is held in the Community Center in Rodeo, New Mexico. Come and join the fun! For more information just ask.

I'm trying to get the hang of blogging.
Ok, I know it's been awhile since the last post, but I'm trying to figure out how to do this and since my diary has gaps in it, this may have gaps too.
So far I've been turned down by many of the companies around here because I don't speak Spanish. Yes, I live in the United States, but since the Government hasn't seen fit to secure the border I have to either learn Spanish or go jobless. Last I looked the majority of US citizens spoke English. At least that's what I learned in school.
Well, off to try and get this house cleaned, living in the desert gives a new meaning to daily chores.
